Family is everything

There is nothing like family time!This week, my husband, Colin and I took our daughter, Marcelle to Port Orange, Florida. While we were there, we visited with some of our family members and it was wonderful trip. There is NEVER a dule moment in the Abear Household We stayed at an Air B&B that was on 8 acres of land. Our home was basically a farmhouse and I loved its rustic feel. It had a huge wrap around porch with plenty of rocking chairs, a porch swing, and a couch to sit on. A few times while we were there, I sat outside and read my book. As an empath, I need time to recharge and being outside in nature was rejuvenating. Watching my daughter run and play in the field was a sight to see. She loved swinging, especially with her daddy!

We visited with my sister in law, Marie, niece, Elise, and nephew, Ethan. The kids played well one another despite the age differences (they did great with Marcelle). On the second day we took a trip to the beach which was filled with swimming and sandcastle building. The kids loved it. The next day, Marie and I woke up at the butt crack of dawn to take maternity photos on the property of our Air B&B. Luckily, the mosquitoes were not too hungry! As you can see, her images are stunning!

We enjoyed the time with one another. No, did not have an exuberant trip but that is not what our family needed. We needed time to relax and recoup. Selling a house and preparing to PCS across the country has been stressful. That is why spending time with family is so important to me! My experiences with them enrich my life and make me a better person. The conversations we shared and the time we spent with one another will always be cherished by me.We enjoyed the time with one another.
